hur hur, today marks the last day of my 21s program for this year i guess. won't be gg down next week cos midterms r coming!! damn stressed. think i'll have to 'burn' this weekend again. i need to seriously raise my gpa. need to speak to mh abt performance review oso. haha, sounds interesting.

i was hoping that weights would continue, cos i think it's quite fun. haha, and it's nice to see those muscles growing!

anw, this is a rather sadistic thought but i was actually happy to be writing alot of stuff down during audit class today. duno y but it feels super shuang. haha like writing econs essay lidat. i must have been too stressed..................

and i still miss hk :(

duno y this scary thought suddenly dawned on me this morning: once i graduate, perhaps i won't even have the time to concentrate on sneakers. and by that time, probably no coach will be bothered to develop me cos i'd be too old alr. omg, this is so scary. it's time to grow up, no more procrastination. he's really right, i cannot depend on others already. it's time to expect and demand from myself to match up to them. and he wouldn't say that unless he believes i have the potential to meet his expectations.

ok realised i haven updated abt sneakers internal league. the theme this year was houses of harry potter and i'm in gryffindor. hahah, not that i understand what that means. anway, no one could beat the old birds cos they were simply too qiang!

hello, i'm back from hk! it's such an experience man! i mean in terms of team bonding and games.

day 1:
was supposed to meet at the airport at 8am, but i left house at 7am and reached there at 730. -_- so super early. hahah. anyway, the team was super excited when we met and we got team bag & shoebag! so nice! we had BK for breakfast where lijuan and yeeleen happily cut our queue. was sitting beside shuting on the plane and was made her accomplice in 'blanket theft'. din really do much the first day cos we reached the hotel at like 4+ and we had to meet for game at 6? zzz. ms sng, lijuan and yeeleen were the ones resting that day but we still won the hk team like 45-15. haha, the shooters cant rest cos there's onli like susan & me? and wenhui was probably super happy to be shooting also. after the game, we shopped around the streets until like 12+ and went to play UNO in jasmine's room after bathing.

day 2:
went to the peak and madam tussaud's wax museum with jietong, shuting, waiyee, ken and susan's family. haha the rest went to mongkok, this huge shopping district. the view frm the peak was magnificient and we had damn alot of fun in madam tussaud's. jietong was super funny la.
although we had ms sng, yeeleen, lijuan & waiyee playing for us, the second game was really tight. cos we played hk's div 1 champion and they are super rough & tall. cos the entire team is made up of angmohs. i heard they won the championship through brute strength. but i played quite badly for the second game and i must admit i was rather lost during the game. onli played 2 quarters. and we were like down 6 the end of second quarter. den ms sng went in to play WA and wenhui as GA and i swear ms sng lives up to her name of 'the flying legend' man. her passes & movements r flawless lor. jt & me are like watching in awe man. and of cos, we won eventually by 6. but i felt damn sian diao cos i know she was disappointed in me. she told me b4 the second quart that these games will be an experience to me, probably cos i'm playing with all the legends.

6 of us -jt, shuting, jas, anni, lijuan & me started to play charades in jas's room and it was super funny la! great game to play during trips.

Day 3:
OCEAN PARK!! hahahaha, everyone went! susan went off with her family after entering the park while the rest of us chionged to the rides area. haha our first ride was the water ride. there were 4 boats and i was with jt, shuting & wenhui. hahahaha, wenhui & jt were damn freaked out b4 the ride. super funny la. ms sng, lijuan & yeeleen were in front of us. den b4 the boat plunged down the slope, hahaha, they already screamed la. and it was super loud cos we were opp. them and we can hear them loud and clear la. yeeleen was probably the loudest man. HAHA.

our next ride was the Dragon's trail. it was supposed to be the best rollercoaster in ocean park. ok la, i only enjoyed the part when the rollercoaster spun 360 degrees. and there were 3 loops. but it's not v exciting even after we took the ride twice. haha the next ride was the best la, the abyss turbo drop! all of us were looking forward to it cos the tower's like extremely high la. and waiyee wanted to pull out halfway den we just convinced her that it's not scary. hahah she screamed even b4 the seats rose. but i haf to admit, it's really quite scary with yr legs dangling in the air and waiting for the moment of the drop. jt kept asking me to see the scenery and b4 i could finish 'enjoying' the scenery, i was down alr. but the freefall wasn't v fast leh, quite disappointing. but the anticipation b4 the drop was quite shiok. hahahaha.

i tink our last ride was the viking. we are damn lucky la, cos we managed to get the seats at both ends. hahaha so we were like raising our arms and screaming SNEAKERS all the way. hahaha, damn fun!

our third game was against the hk expatriate team. they're not bad i must admit. but during the second quart, when i was running out for a ball, the keeper pushed me and i landed on my left ankle. nearly died can. i haven had such a twist for a while alr. ms sng came in as GA while i was icing my ankle outside and she's soooo zai. but the game was still kept tight and we were only up 1 at the end of second quart. that's y i decided to just tape my ankle and continue to play. i thought she wouldn't put me in to play anymore but she handed me the GA bib for the last quart. and guess wad, she was the WA. :) b4 the start of 4th quart, she pulled me aside and told me 'jia you k?' and gave me a pat. for a long time until that last quart, i've never enjoyed netball so much. it was an inspiration and motivation. and my shooting was 100%!! we won by 12 in the end. heh.

yeeleen & wenhui joined us for charades that nite. yeeleen & lijuan were like invincible with their years of charades experience la. and we had a huge swearing session b4 that. go figure.

Day 4:
free day! we went mongkok to shop and there were really good buys. we got shoes for 50HKD (S$10) and they even bought umbrellas. -_- shuting bought like 6 bags at one go la, but the bags were designer inspired. i think it was called the chloe or smt. super cheap, one bag costs like S$28. we walked from noon till like 11+ at nite.
we celebrated ms sng's birthday in a damn cool way. it was all pre-planned by shuting & me. wahahah. this is how the plan goes: yeeleen will act out the sentence 'today is ms sng's birthday' and then lijuan they all will 'pretend' to guess. of cos they guessed it and we brought the cake out! everyone, including susan was there. damn cool. :)

there was some stupid prankster who kept knocking and ringing my doorbell at 430am. he even went to kick the rubbish we left outside the room. jt & i were quite freaked out but we had no one to call la cos everyone was sleeping alr. but it stopped after a while. dumb.

Day 5:
had dim sum FINALLY. but it wasn't v nice la. shopped ard in the huge adidas shop near our hotel and we really bought a lot of stuff, as usual. haha, went to buy lao po bing and made our way to the airport after that.

it was a great trip i must say. i found my new inspiration. someone who will make me enjoy the game once more. i haven played such great netball since after national league. and i must thank ms sng for spending so much time correcting my shooting technique and moves during the entire trip. that was what made me so touched and made me want to play the last quarter, even with a broken ankle. i think if i had sprained it during other trgs, i wuld probably be damn happy to sit out.
